One evening while camping in a small cluster of trees, I was startled to find myself being watched by a dryad. After a small stare off and my assurance that I was unarmed, she approached me, curious of what I was doing with my small scrapbook. I showed her the various photo's and sketches I had of the different types of jewelry that all sorts of races wore. She then asked if I would care to see her necklace, which of course I was ecstatic too. This is the piece she wore about her neck; three green stones bordering a triangle of silver coils and swirls, which in turn bordered a smaller fourth green stone. I managed to convince her to let me immortalize it with my photo-box, in exchange for some of the exotic fruits I had with me. I know not if the piece held any sort of power, nor the origin of the stones. But for the few hours we conversed and visited, my eyes were continuously drawn to it after a small, faint glow seemed to shine across one of the stones, then flicker out as soon as I looked. I visited the small grove again ona later travel to inquire about the pendant's origins, but if she was still there she did not make herself known.

Forgive me for my pride but I -adore- this pendant. Roughly an hour and a half of coiling, wire-wrapping, string on the stones and then getting the middle stone on led to this lovely little thing.

It's only about an inch across but given the time that went into THIS particular piece I would charge roughly $18-20 for it, specifically. Simpler variations probably wouldnt go much over $15.

Also, you'll notice this and The celtic pendant entitled "Southern Winds Imprisoned" have little stories tagged on. Don't ask me what they're from, or who it's supposed to be writing them. I was just feeling creative :B
