So, I'd mentioned in my last journal that my sister and I had visited the Galapagos Islands. We stayed on Santa Cruz Island and visited the Charles Darwin Institute. It was while we we on our way there that we spotted this beach and my sister wanted photos.
I saw a marine iguana and snapped this photo with my phone...it was while showing my sister we both realized that there was more than one in the photo. In fact, if I had not gone too close there were two more that I'd missed (I almost stepped on them....seriously they were that close).
Fun fact...I still have no idea just how many of them are in the photo!
I like to show this to folks as it shows just how very much disguised against the rocks the marine iguanas are.
I don't like posting photographs, but because I recently made 10 years on FA (on the 4th) and my first submission was a photo, I decided what the hell.
Of course my first submission was done over seven months after joining FA!
