Little Guybrush Threepwood has gone to bed after his mom read him a tale about pirates... he loves so much stories about pirates! It's more, he dreams with to be, one day, the most brave, intrepid and bold pirate in the Caribean. But at the moment it's only a dream, he has to grow up yet. Before to sleep, he remain watching the waters of the Caribean for a while... He'd love to see a pirate ship arriving to the island!

In this illustration, inspired in one of an author that I don't remember now, I've tried to create a high contrast of lights and shadows with reds and blue, and on the other hand, I've rejected the precision in the background, using curves, more permisives than the rigid straight lines.
