Yellow-Cheeky Surak is a small bird found on the mainland of Consong. They lead a daily life, digging through tall grass in search of food. Usually quiet, invisible and very cautious birds. Young birds feed on insects: caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetle larvae. As they grow older, they eat grains, berries and grass seeds.
