Hah! So I got to wild shape into a giant toad for the first time last night and long after the battle was technically over the Grick I devoured was still kicking! The rest of the party just had to wait as those 1d10 acid rolls tumbled! Shape shifting half elf druid is named Mora, and it seems I'll be using her for vore stuff more often :C

I do feel like the rules for Swallow Whole are...not strong enough. The acid damage is very low...

Personally, I would rule that if a creature is swallowed whole, you'd roll a Con save. Fail, and the acid damage moves up a damage die

The damage is actually 3d6 - in addition to bite damage and being blinded and restrained. That's plenty for a CR 1 creature

Ah, so it applies the damage your bite does, plus 3d6 acid?

On the swallow itself, yes. On the subsequent turns, you take acid damage, you are blind and restrained, and there is no check to escape

What's her alignment?
I'm curious if non evil humans might end up down her gullet.

Maybe mistaken identity; eating the wrong person only to find they weren't the target after it's too late?

Ah, mistaken identity would likely be best, then. Intentionally eating a good, innocent person would be a decidedly evil act.
I take it she has to stay polymorphed in a large predator form until digestion is done?

Hmm, I could see her using a smaller form to nom a pixie or other tiny fae, then morphing back, since it'd still fit in her normal stomach.
How did the other players react to Mora's permanent solution?

the funny thing is there is a cannon vore attack in d and d where the Tarrasque has an attack called swallow
when i saw that i thought of making a campaign take place inside the Tarrasque
