this is the sfw version of the "ideal body" character design. they're basically an idea i had for a character that could only exist in either a virtual world or as being composed of nanobots because with the giant hole in their center there's no room for the important parts of them that would be necessary in a mechanical, bio-organic or otherwise normal lifeform.
