Next up is Leah Bezzett, the designated "un-glamorous" one of my ladies. She serves the role as the outsider looking in, as well as one of the more conscientious characters. Being poor, and having to dedicate every cent she earns to either taking care of her 6-year-old daughter, or paying rent to her greedy aunt and uncle (who nickel-and-dime her at every chance they can), Leah only has one "nice dress" for social occasions... not that she gets a chance to wear it that often.

Thanks! I'm thinking that her grandmother made her that dress for her high school prom, because they couldn't afford one of those expensive new ones, and the grandma didn't want to buy a cheap second-hand dress for the occasion. Leah loved it, and since her grandma's death, its been one of her more cherished possessions.
