What a stylish dude

His boots are great. The decorations are particularly eye-catching; one thinks they look like little watches, the other is convinced he's got the next generation of Bop-Its on there.

Agreed re: this version being "cuter." Anything in particular you're trying to revamp from the old design, or is it just a case of knowing the character better now and drawing them more how they're supposed to look?

In the older versions he looks kind of haggard and middle-aged, and I wanted him to look more impish and ageless.

I am digging the costume.

I love his outfit and I'm absolutely digging his pudgy body. This version is definitely softer and more toony, though I did like the old design of Phthalo too (I'm a sucker for the skin folds).

I am thinking he gets all wrinkly and dimply when he smiles.
