Fresh from the oven its another Home page
Progress is going to slow down here soon for a while because I'm about to move across the country!! I'll make an official announcement about it when I think it'll really take effect but basically I'm three shifts away from the end of my job and I'm throwing all my shit in boxes on my days off so! Anyways for page commentary- this is almost an exact play-by-play of the events leading up to my fallout in college. Not 100 percent, but following the basic events. This is about personal closure as much as it is processing things like this with people like me who had issues with school.
EDIT: also just realized reuploading makes the file size bigger and easier to view. Guess whos reuploading a bunch of shit later lmao

hooh man this comic is almost too relatable.... uni was hell on earth for me even though i was only there for a short while. you'd think making the decision to leave would give you more freedom and at least make you feel a little bit better but it's just left me kinda lost and unsure what it is i'm even doing with my life, but i guess that's the College Experience™
anyway, i'm really enjoying the comic so far! and good luck on your upcoming move!

I had to do an extra year for College too. It wasn’t that my grades were bad I had a very good GPA, but I am on the autism spectrum and I have difficulty learning things. I couldn’t handle five or six classes a semester it was just too much for me so I just did four a semester. I also took a few summer courses to make up some difference so I wouldn’t have to do six years. Maybe that’s why I don’t feel graduating was as much of an accomplishment for me because I couldn’t handle the pressure, broke and took a lighter load to make things easier for myself.
I feel that. I started with four or five classes per semester and ended up dropping all but one or two each time. I had credits from high school and tried to do summer classes but it just wasn't enough. I hated being there so much, every second I wasted messing up was another second I would have to stay.
However, I think that regardless of how long you took to graduate that's still an accomplishment in itself. You recognized your limitations and did it in a way that was healthiest for you, and I think that's so much more respectable than forcing yourself into graduating in the typical four year time. You still accomplished something fantastic and I'm very happy that you were able to make it out!
