Beautifully drawn and has that natural, strong stance.
My initial impression is the hyena looking out towards a lifeless landscape covered in volcanic ashes after a destructive eruption. Just that atmosphere looks very similar to that kind of after event, not to mention the subtle look of dismay in it's eyes.
