I'm really divided about this - I like the right side a lot, but that thing on the left, holy moly. It's a self-portrait, but I'm not quite that funny-looking in real life.

On a ~*~deep artistic level~*~, the whole thing is a self-portrait: those scribbles on the right are some of my characters, drawn with my eyes closed. So looking at it from left to right, you see the controlled way I (try to) present myself, then my thoughts/imagination, which contains WILD AND CRAZY GUYS. wow u so smart n creative ^.^

I like drawing with my eyes closed because 1) it's fun - when you look at your drawing, it's a surprise, and 2) it keeps me from drawing uwa uwa kawaii anime usagi-chans. I spent several years (elementary school to early high school) trying to imitate manga styles, and now I'm stuck drawing everything really cutesy even when it shouldn't be. When I do blind contour drawings or draw with my eyes closed, I get people with really ridiculous faces, and I like that better.
