“It’s him isn’t it, your old partner you used to go on and on about.” Thundercracker said quietly tracing his hand down Starscream’s wing. “The one you went to school with.”

“Oh, he was far more then that.” Starscream sighed and leaned into the touch a little. “He was the first bot I bonded too. The first of my trine. Or so I had hoped.”

Thundercracker looked at his wing commander with an understanding face.

“Come on Screamer, He may still be functional.” Thundercracker said keeping his hand moving. “Hell he may not even be the same bot.”

“Unlikely.” Starscream said his voice turning cold and his lips setting in a grim line. “The Bond is long gone from us both, him from either death or prolonged stasis lock, and mine from bonding with you two. Something I do not regret I may add.”

“Of course not Screamer, we would know if you regretted it.” Thundercracker gave Starscream a playful shove. “Of course, we also can tell how important this guy is to you. If he is awake and functional we wont regret letting a fourth into the bond.”

Starscream turned and faced Thundercracker. With a sigh and a smile he let his head rest against his Trine mate's. Thundercracker beamed happily.

“You two are way to good to me sometimes.” Starscream said giving his third wing a playful nudge and a nip on his helm. “Come on, lets go down and see what’s going on.”
