Smol mouse friend! She wants to be friends but she's so shy and intimidated!
Heh I had this silly idea pop into my head for mine and my friend Cortawsome's Rokugan characters from one of our games.
I've talked about it with other pics of Asuka here but Rokugan is a D&D campaign setting with a japanese-inspired lore.
For reference, a while back the Naga used to hunt the Nezumi, who survived by pure numbers even though a lot of them would get eaten. But the Naga hid underground to avoid an apocolypse they thought was coming which didn't. So they reimerge a long time later and humans and Nezumi have gotten a lot more poplated.
But the two nezumi in the party, Hikute and the lovely Akkiko here are both very wary of the intimidatingly beautiful naga Asuka.
Hikute is verry apprehensive about the giant snake but Akkiko, while very nervous, at least seems like she wants to open up. Still hard not to be scared though.

They probably do.
I mean I didn't mention it but in this setting the naga actually have a sort of pseudo hive-mind. I imagine it being more about feeling the overal vague feeligns of the people in general and any strong specific feelingsb ut they also sorta share knowledge with it. But needless to say they seem like a race that communicates well.
Still, they were away for a long time and I think just got used to not hunting the nezumi, and now the world is growing a little more civilised with human societies and cities spreading across the world and nezumi usually being allowed to live on the fringes of that society.
When we began, I joined a session late so the others had sorta gotten to know each other a little and when I came in, my character was brought to meet the party as sort of a dignitary, an ambassador of sorts of the naga and everyone reacts to her with this like "Whoa!" like hushed glances of respect as if she's royalty lol. which is kinda fun.
