Here's something that happened to me in Paris last week: we where at a crêperie and we saw these cups that we assumed where teacups on the table. So naturally, we ordered tea... and then they took the cups away and gave us tea in a coffee cup.

It turns out that they where CIDER cups, in France they apparently drink cider--cold cider--out of earthenware cups, and no one told me about that! So yeah, if you end up in Paris, order the cider.

Paris was an extraordinary city, but I've noticed that the people who are most starry-eyed about Paris don't actually live there. In this picture, I wanted to capture the more mundane side of Paris, cus every city looks about the same when you are stuck in the rain.

...oh, and also, the friggin Nore Dame caught on fire like the day after I returned home. I never went to visit it cus I figured eh, it's an old building, it's not going anywhere. Welp.
