I started this piece yesterday.
I decided to completely throw myself into experimenting with fur brushes. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve but I'm already liking how much more natural my transitions between colors are looking. And of course the piece is coming together more quickly.
I also have to say that it's one the the first pieces that I didn't immediately get frustrated with and want to throw in the garbage.
