In case anyone is curious, the floorplan for the new abode. The "top" faces north (toward 76th Street, in the middle of the block); the kitchen faces west, going toward Park Avenue.

Gross "maintenance" is $1500/month. I actually own the apartment, so some of that I get back in taxes, plus I collect any increase in value. My current apartment, in the same building, was bought for ca. $100,000 in 1994, and is worth ca. $450,000 today.
