A quick doodle I did in an hour. Now you're probably asking what the hello is this thing? Well, if you haven't played Half-Life or its expansions before, this creature is called a Houndeye. It's a kind of alien dog that works in packs and uses powerful sonic blasts as an attack.
Houndeyes are one of my favourite HL enemies. They were to appear in Half-Life 2, but they didn't make the cut due to the infamous HL2 code leak. Still, I'm hoping that they will make a return in the forests of Half-Life 2: Episode Two. They are such cute creatures (even if they are trying to do me in) and I wish I could have one as a pet.

The best enemy you ask me? The white suit Combine.. Oh man play that on the hardest setting those fucks are so well co-ordinated thyey are all taking cover and hucking grenades when they need a few moments to regroup and using cover fire to fall back etc ecspecially on the advanced AI mod. I love combine, but the best creatures are the ants.. And the squeezy ball, oh man.
Cute? Err... okay. I hated the noise they made when they were charging a sonic blast... It was like
"IMMA CHARGIN MAH SONIC BLAST" and if there were others around they'd show up too.
The good news is that the Magnum kills EVERYTHING, well almost.
I agree Half-Life was hard, Half-Life 2 was a little easier, but both were great games.
Also the Combine are great, except in MP. Playing as the Combine, their freaking suits make noise that others can pick up from a mile away.
