so is it like steampunk-ish stuff like steamboats, telegrams, and blackpowder muskets (which would flow very well for a fantasy theme) or modern like jets, computers, and smartphones?
Not that I'm trying to be bossy or anything UwU but I would recommend to keep technology primitive because that would make magic obsolete compared to what modern technology is capable of. Furthermore I believe that would also open a can of worms to how government and nations are ran which would take away the fantasy theme of a mystical and mysterious undiscovered land where adventure awaits with kingdoms and villages into a developed industrial society that has procedures and citizens. Just my food for thought ;)

I gotta say, there are both. I know it sounds that it can be complicated.
And yes you have a point. But actually super natural power only works on few characters, so it's pretty exclusive.
