It's more than what you bargained for
But it's a little less than what you paid for.
Another collaboration with https://twitter.com/SeyScribbles, who came up with the original sketch. We both really liked the idea a lot, but were tentative because we couldn't figure out a good situation for the character to be in. Luckily it all worked out and we came up with something that we both really dig. I hope that you do as well!

Oh wow! This looked so much like Shadows over Innistrad (a Magic: the Gathering set) art that I wondered if you'd been commissioned by Wizards for something at first! Not implying anything stolen at all - I'm very impressed, and it would suit that universe -perfectly-. Super cool stuff!
Mhmm, I love that set and it's second part, Eldritch Moon! I wasn't directly looking at any of the art from those for inspiration but I've spent a lot of time staring at them so it sefinitely was an internal inspiration! I'd really love to do soemthing for WotC someday, just to be able to said that I did it. For sure something gnarly like this would be ideal but I'll take what I can get hahaha! Anyways, glad to hear you dig!
