Scruffy sits at the edge of a cliff near Liscannor, thankful for the lift from Jimmy the cab driver and thinking about the nice pint he'll have in McHugh's later on.
Glad to see you finished that pic - I was wondering about it after seeing your sketch. Background looks fine to me. Instead of adding another fur, try making the ocean surface more in focus and reflective perhaps?
