It reminds me of an episode of "Twilight Zone" with Mickey Rooney. He was a jockey and said he was going to be a big man someday. I don't remember exactly what happened, I think he murders someone. When he wakes up the next day, he's huge! And the size of his room. This one really freaked me out as a kid. Mickey Rooney's fantastic acting really made the story.
