I was listening to a song title, "Snow on High Ground" and i moved me to write this. It is a great piece by the way, I recommend it. But i don't know who it is by... But sad sad. But there is always light somewhere!

“Death is a Savior”

One day the earth was cold as ice.
Suffering from empty desire, nature did not suffice.
I walked along, with labored movements.
Sorrow is fatal, there were no improvements.

Snow was falling, life was dying.
Pain was eternal, spirit was crying.
Crying out to the stars, I could no longer subsist.
In a life of mournful burden, too painful to persist.

As I drew my last breaths, I lay to rest atop the snow.
In my frigid cradle I laid, I said, “This day only the stars must know!”
As I look up, I whisper my one final prayer:
“Send them my soul, lest they should care!”

There I shut my eyes and died.
At which time, mother earth sighed.
I was finally at peace, ready to go home!
I was joyous amongst my brothers, free to roam!

Bitter were the memories,
Terrible were the enemies,
Darkness shrouded, I couldn’t see!
But now look at this, I am FREE!
