All of the kids in my village learned the same way, they all jumped like it wasn't a problem. I thought I was going to handle it the same way but the opposite became clear when the floor came to an end. Father noticed I abruptly stopped my pace, but instead of rushing with words he held my hand and led me slowly to the ledge. Surprisingly, he told me he reacted the same way to this trial and to take my time. This is just a snippet of the best memories of him I have, one day I'll come back home and make more.
