Eternal in Blacksad´s dimension
To get back into drawing and using the opportunity to train a new method of shading with pencil and some strange tool, a very comprimised roll of paper with a pointed tip, I decided to finish this pic that gathered dust on my desk for some time now.
Eternal visid´s the world of anthropomorphic animals of Blacksad, where he needn´t do reshape himself that much to fit in.
Blacksad belongs to Juan Diaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido, who has become my new idol and sinpiration in terms of comic art and page composition.^^

BTW: This will be the style of shading that I will use for your trade pic too. This was so to say the experiment on how it would come out and i am pleased with the result. So I can stick with this method

I agree. It's a pity that were made just 5 stories. I'm sure that Blacksad would have became a great comic book series ^^
And yeah, I hope that, too. I've seen the teaser, and for now it promises good, even if I've noticed that some animations were a bit stiff in some points. I hope that the final product will have them fixed. And I hope that soon we will see a new trailer of the game, at least to see at what point is going it

The style of the serie turn well with your style, it's realy amazing this talent you have ^^, and eternal pass perfectly in this world indeed no need to reajust too much plus he have realy "the head of the job" as detective he will be perfect!

hehe due to the rules of Aesop fable rats in Blacksad´s universe are more the spy type or information broker.
There allready floats an idea of a possible fanfiction story within my head, but there is simply no time to bring it to life^^;

Indeed in these tip of show rat or weasel are still view like spy or thieves (well more Raccoon than rat XD) and yes I understand, work on too much thing in the same time it's something realy difficult and tiring so just focus yourself on your actual comics that become more and more amazing and your personnal little project ^^
Dass die Comics sehr langsam rauskommen, ist kein Wunder. Jedes Panel ist ein Aquarellgemälde für sich. Und wenn man die Massenszenen anschaut wie in "Die Stille der Hölle" beim Madis Gras in New Orleans, da weiß ich so ungefähr, wie lange da schon alleine das Zeichnen gedauert hat...

Eternal can really blend in Blacksad's dimension without any problems, even though his white pupilless eyes could unnerve some people (and get him into trouble), but I suppose it's the rule when you travel through dimensions/worlds, isn't it?
You can change your appearance to blend in a dimension/world, but you have to keep one of your own physical features in order not to lose your identity.

You are totally right there. Eternal can visit every dimension, and he can adopt to an appearence as close as possible to fit in, but there are allways features on him that mark him to be different.
Fun fact: this rule tends back to ancient imagines of folklore regarding elves and dwarfs and other supernatural tribes. Usually people imagined them to be bodyless spirits of nature. Only when they approach mortal human, to get in contact with them, they transform into human appearences, but allways with some errors, the can not adapt 100% perfectly to a human shape.
The most popular "error" in the body appearence are the pointed ears for elves and the small body of dwarfs.
As for Eternal´s power: No he doesn´t keep his powers when he visits a semirealistic dimension like Blacksad´s New York. He will appear as an ordinary rat anthro. That is a rule for him. He adapts to the limit of power of a certain world he is up to visit. If he would be overpowered, he would risk to damage the balance of a certain dimension.

With Blacksad's world being one of anthros Eternal would pass as an anthro rat albeit an unusual one with his eyes but I think the era and overall mood of the setting would be one he could find comfortable, so I imagine it was as simple as just choose an appropriate outfit and if he's without his usual level of power for a while he's still an old soul with vast experience and can look after himself since power in itself cannot always be relied upon.

If he gets killed by any means, he has to leave the dimension and reform in the emptyness again and then he can no longer visit this particular dimension again.

that´s the first time I have heard that sick can take on the meaning as awesome...
well you see translated to german, "sick" means "krank" and krank can be retranslated back from german as "ill/sick" but also as kind of "perverted" or "twisted"
so I was a little confused here^^;

as a fullfletched detective, yes
but Eternal allready is used to investigating things. In "Castle of Laughter" he was investigating the reason why so many strong warriors, mighty mages and notorious criminals had vanished and he found out that they had been held captive and tickled crazy to encrease the might of the dungeonmasters
