Part of my class assignment.
Done as a personal project aspiring to what I wish to do in the future, which is concept illustration. In particular, I wish to work for American McGee's Spicy Horse production company in Shanghai. I love American McGee's Alice, and can't wait for Alice 2, more so, RED, to come out some time next year. Being that Little Red Riding Hood is my most beloved Fable ever told, I intend to incorporate that story in everything I do. I admire and appreciate looking at ALL Red Riding Hood artwork ever created.
This is one of a few concepts I've illustrated, but was told this is the most powerful.

As fond as you are of Red, I can imagine you'd have seen this, but if you haven't, it's pretty fookin amazing.

Like what you've done here. Wolfy's gonna get cut! If I could have just watched you paint even just the red cloak, I would've been ecstatic. The whole thing's simple amazing. .o.

Concept art and character design is what I've always longed to do. I wish you the best of luck with that career. I think you've definitely got what it takes!
I have a strong appreciation especially for anything Alice in Wonderland related, but Red Riding comes close. This is a gorgeous image and a very interesting twist on the story. I always enjoy seeing classic fairy tales with a little more of a dark twist to them (although this tale was originally already pretty dark).
The contrast you've got going on with the sizes there really sets the mood. You can really feel the tension there between Red and the wolf, the moments before that big showdown happens.
P.S. I had no idea there was another Alice game coming out holy shit. I can't wait to see that.
