The Monarch Pupa, CRYSALAE!

The Shiny is what I like to call the "About To Hatch" color scheme, or a bit darker name.... "Died in Pupation"..... It's not easy to tell with monarch pupae!

I have never had a monarch pupa die in my care, but those saturniids are another story. I've only successfully hatched ONE cecropia. I've got two overwintering polyphemus, which kicks ass because I LOVE THEIR EYESPOTSSSS~
