Here's a jackal who appears to be dissolving, for some reason. That can't be good. Done entirely on one layer with no outlines, because I like making things difficult for myself, apparently.

Well, technically I drew the sketch on one layer first, then did the actual picture on a layer over it and removed the sketch layer when I finished, but yes! I've done the one-layer thing before in the past to get this sort of lineless look, but haven't done much with it since it's difficult!

Very cool. I've always loved the idea of dissolving or disintegrating, and you captured that beautifully here.
I love his expression as he raises his paw to watch as it dissolves away into sand, and having it just blowing away in the wind gives that extra sense of vanishing away into nothing.
