Good afternoon all!

Today, I want to reflect on Psalm 47 and the many pieces of Scripture that express the ultimate Joy of The Lord. How I agree with all those verses that exalt Him with the highest notions!

During my studies of Scripture there's a feeling that I can only put in one word and that word is "Joy".
now why do I not just use "happiness" well happiness is tied to our circumstances while joy is not. Joy is a special feeling,

a feeling that allows you to fully rejoice in all that God does. I like to think happiness comes from the brain, whilst Joy is direct from the soul.

Here's Psalm 47 in the NIV version for those who may need it:
Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth.
He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom He loved, God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth;
sing to Him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble, as the people of the
God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted.

This has been just a short little message as I am currently studying more about my Lord!
