Today was a good day. Taki and I prepared breakfast to surprise Gear for his birthday! The look on his face when his pets were sitting on the bed covered in food from the mess we made, and the smile that followed when we presented the food to him. We were quite proud of those burnt pancakes and accidentally perfect bacon strips. We ran around the house and tried to do all of his favorite things, since he didn't need to work. Ultimately we tired all of ourselves out and found ourselves in the backyard. The wind was blowing a bit so we pulled our scarves in and kept all of us warm...the only way we knew how.
