Yet another resident in the Home for the Haunted. Here’s Merriweather, and he is not nice!

Merriweather is possessed by the spirit of a cult leader who believed himself to be divine. Usually when a toy is possessed to become a living toy they don’t have the same beliefs, memories or personality but Merriweather still believed he was divine. His old owner was human and when he found out Merriweather was Haunted he destroyed Merriweather, but Merriweather just possessed his owner and turned him into the old puppet body.
Merriweather is a manipulative psychopath who believes he’s better than everyone else and just uses the people around him as tools on his quest to become a god. He has spent 3 years in the institution and tricked the doctors into thinking he’s cured and convinced the other patients to take the blame for things he’s done.

This was how Merriweather was found before being taken to the institution. Monster Police found him sitting in room 111 of an abandoned hotel. The walls appeared to be singed with strange markings, all converging towards Merriweather, who sat at the back, a little to the right, holding a lit match in one hand and clutching the matchbox with the other. The strange markings also appeared over his face. He made no attempt at resistance, in fact he didn’t move at all. He remained completely stiff as he was carried, muttering strange melodies frantically under his breath.
Upon arrival it was discovered that the markings weren’t burned on but were merely drawn on with charcoal and were easily washed off.

Oh he’s not to be trusted, but he’ll charm you into trusting him...
