"There there, sweet girl." 🎀✨═════👑It had been months since her Father returned, saw her queendom,
and cast her into the dungeons, where she languished alone. He removed her
divinity, making her mortal. With this mortality came a flood of emotions to
which she had been immune for eternity. Sadness, confusion, worry, pain,
regret. All were new to her. To learn to be a mortal was an agonizing rebirth.
It had been weeks since she was brought up from the dungeons, shaking and
disheveled. New ministers and officers had been installed. Her vassals disavowed
her and broke their troth. She received word of the executions of her priestesses.
Now, she was imprisoned in her bedchambers.
Once, her servants feared and respected her.
Once, they spoke not a word and came only at her behest.
Now, they sang, they cooed and cosseted her.
They came at all times of day, bathing her in milk, anointing her fur with oils
and perfumes. Lovingly they brushed her hair, dressed her, and made her up,
as if she was their own daughter. Her nails were filed and painted. Her face
powdered. They fed her when she refused to eat.She was a predator adored by
prey. Treated as a doll, disallowed to speak. All on the command of His Imperial
Majesty - to break the spirit she now had.═════👑I was thinking of writing lyrics for a Disney-esque song based on this pic...

I used to do it many years ago, but I'm a career woman nowadays so I don't have much time for my own writing as it is.
