It's so easy to say this when everything's fine and we seem to have more luck than a four leaf clover. As they call it, "la vie en rose". But what happens when thorns start to get in your way? It's not nice at all when the things that discomfort you the most happen one after another. Seriously, one can only breath deeply, count to hundred (or thousand), and move on.
I'll tell you something: for those who bear the weight that comes with living, life's got a reward that doesn't come after death. Between the hardships, we'll always have moments of peace that will feel like reaching an oasis in the middle of the desert. Enjoy them, get filled with them, and feel peace, because just like everything else, they're ephemeral, those times to get full of joy must also pass, and you must keep walking.
What you need to keep living is not wishing for the oasis to last forever, but looking out with faith for the next one, because there's always, always, another one ahead.
