Elijah is always an interesting topic for me because I want to humanize him as much as possible but I also know, ultimately, what Elijah is and I dont want to justify any of it as a means of a system, or a belief or really anything.

Elijah just, is, and that's all he needs to do.

I've said before that I always feel like the more I draw Elijah the more mystique comes away with him and I would love for him to be this aloof force that comes in just as earnestly as he does in ReveR.
But I think not exploring his role, his actions, and his part in imagery is also doing a disservice to the project, and I think it's going too easy on myself. I should be able to find ways to play around with visual concepts that don't obviously give away what or who Elijah is,

This was one of those breakthroughs, and honestly Im pretty happy with it. I've wanted to toy around with the concept of duality in a person and where or if there is a hard line from one side to the next, or if a person is all encompassing, that facets are just that, facets of the same gem.
