Hope bringer is a Remnant centurion dating back to the EAA Terran grand fleet.

It saw active service for only a few short years before being sent to Vega after the traitorous humans that had followed the white sphere. However it's captain refused to fire upon the fellow humans even if they were seen as traitors.

This lead the captain and most of the senior crew being court martialed for there "lack" of action and disobeying orders.

The Hope bringer would end up simply left to orbit Earth after returning from Vega and did not have the crew or command for it to be ale to fight back when the scourge invaded. The hope bringer was forced to jump away from Earth, unfortunately it's jump took it to an asteroid belt in the Eden system leading it to suffering some damage before it managed to escape.

The crew attempted to make jumps but where unable to find any nodes that they could properly link with.

After a few years of trying and failing to jump to a safer location the ship was moved in to orbit around Eden IV and left in silent running as the planet had been taken by the scourge.

Eventually Hope bringer was abandoned by its crew and spent decades simply orbiting Eden IV.

upon the UCMs reconquest reaching Eden IV the Hope bringer was discovered by ships orbiting the planet, it appeared that the crew had not fully shut down the ships systems before abandoning it leading it to being picked up by the UCM fleet as they scanned for enemy ships.

After decades in orbit the ship was recovered and repaired to the UCM's best capacity before being sent back in to active service.
