More Zbrush practice. Went smoother than others, but I didn't bother to UV this one. She IS prepped for 3D printing, though, so I'll give that a whirl soon. Anyway, it's Doveni, my wife's new aasimar!

I've been wanting to learn so that I could make custom minis, but learning the programs is really REALLY difficult. I admire the amount of detail you're able to put into these! :D

Aw, thanks! Honestly, I'd say start small, and maybe try Sculptris if you haven't? It's small, but good! I made a mini in it once, but never got her printed.

Ah thank you so much for the recommendation! This is what I have so far for Perra! I find that the symmetry tool is nice, but I dislike that I can't turn it on and off without it automatically changing it to be symmetrical even with edits done. Is there a way to make it not do that? If you don't know thats okay I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually :D

I don't think so in Sculptris? I know there's a way to do it in Zbrush, but I'm not sure about Sculptris. Perra looks gorgeous, btw! You're a natural!!

Ahh how pretty! I'm trying some 3D stuff with Zbrush as well but I can't quite get a hang of coloring just yet! This is gorgeous!

Sometimes, but for this one, I just used the polypaint tool and painted her up right inside of Zbrush. :)

Ah nice! I only have Zbrush core at the moment so I don't think I have polypaint, but that's awesome!

Ahh, I see, I see. Lots of programs will let you paint onto a low poly mesh at least! Like Blender, for example, though I've never tried it!
