I'm getting the hang of coloring with my wrist bandaged up! :D Decided to finish this piece this morning. How old does Tommy look here? I was going for around 7-ish.

Young Tommy looks a little odd here, but I'm still getting used to drawing children. Anyways, little Tommy got in trouble, and in my story, his dad was kind of a jerk. For a "time out," (which Tommy was very lucky to receive, better than the belt) he'd tie up Tommy in the backyard and leave him there for awhile. He'd even sometimes forget to untie his son and remember again the next morning. I actually forgot to draw a dog collar on him, which from what I have perceived in the world of Meitantei Holmes, is rather degrading. Either way, Tommy is tired of being tied up and he is really sorry for what he did. So, why would someone take a photograph of Tommy when he is in trouble and upset? LOL Maybe his dad did it. :) What a BIG jerk.

What did he do? I dunno. I guess he snuck out of the house to hang out with Marie when his father strictly forbade it. I wanted to show what Tommy had to endure as a child, since it is important to my story. Not a bad childhood, but not great with such a jerk of a dad. But hey, his dad is doing what he thinks is right so he can teach his son things correctly. Beh.

God... those eyes.
