Ospreys, the aircraft not really wanted by the Navy, nor the Marines. I remember when one went down with 20 on board near Tucson years ago.

I see them all the time when I drive through Albuquerque.

I remember when Bell was test flying the XV 15 around the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the late 80s and early 90s. Flight path went over my neighborhood. My post at work gives me one heck of a view of the flight line. I'll have to put more pics up here when I can. Those Ospreys were shaking the command shack like crazy. Its even worse when Chinooks are operating out of there - both military and fire fighting ones.

My old High School teacher was telling me about how he HATED the B-36s as they came in to land or take off from Davis Monthan. How they literally shook the windows, hanging lights and shutters for a good 10-20 minutes as a wing would fly in or take off.

Oi! I remember seeing one of those flying over the Mingus mountains a few years back and wondered where they came from. >_< Ah well and here I thought I saw the secret special forces of Black Mesa before the Combine took over!

It is. Been out that way and Coconino County since 1995. Lot of back country exploring
