In this piece done by Louis Frank (wom-bat.deviantart.com) at MWFF'07 and then digitally colored by me we see Admiral McClaw disembarking a lander accompanied by (L to R) Skip, She-wolf, Snipe, Wiley and Budgie. The person in the crimson johdpurs is one of the Grand Fenwick Ducal Guard.

Yes. This is set in the universe of the Star Hunter stories, and the planet of Grand Fenwick was one of my contributions. The Ducal Guard here is the sister of another Star Hunter. I never did get this scene included.

I was gonna say, I didn't recognize the scene. Looks like a formal reception or party of some sort.

I wrote short story for that universe set back in the days of the Diaspora, but I can't find it now. Irritating. I think it's on an old computer system that crashed.

They're supposed to be disembarking from a ship, or maybe just some other vehicle.

I saved off a lot of the files I read; let me see if I can find anything you wrote.
