Yep, I had quite a bit of fun going through the old military archives (the website is now public) and checking out the banned firearms section :3
One of the featured banned firearms was a cannon-shotgun the size of a fucking propane tank. If I saw anyone with that on their person, I would run for my life.

Awesome - because as of this moment I'm working on a side scrolling shooter, that focuses on combining realism with tiny sprites (And so far the movement/firing mechanic looks ace!)
I really would like to see more handguns (preferably ones that have a nicely large kick to them), a wider selection of shotguns, and some good reliable rifles please :3

i can make some gun suggestions, and i'll leave it up to you to google-images them to see what they look like ^^
Handguns (not many, i'm not as into pistols :P):
Mark 23 SOCOM
M1911 Colt (can't go wrong with the basic, can you?)
Shotguns:
NS2000 (funky and unique, so it's perfect XD)
AA12 or USAS12 (very similar full-auto shotguns)
SPAS12
Pancor Jackhammer (only ever made as prototype, but really cool lookin' full-auto :P)
hopefully some of those are helpful, as for rifles that's about my specialty XD but i'm not sure if you want sniper rifles or assault rifles, so i'll wait on those lol
