"A big society is holding an auction tonight," explained Julius. "They hired Shift for security, and I'm going to participate, and we're invited at the dinner they're doing tonight. It's a bit last minute, but we couldn't find a way to refuse."
"Wait, you're going both?" exclaimed Simon. "And me? You're leaving me at Wilbur's?"
"No, he's patrolling as Old Ace tonight. You stay here."
"Alone? Ah, you're finally treating me like a grownup!"
Julius looked awkward.
"Eeeeh... Not really... I called a babysitter, her name's Kara..."
"WHAT?!" screamed in horror Simon.
"Well, I'm gonna shower and get dressed!" hurriedly articulated his father before cowardly scramming, leaving Frontsek to deal with an aghast Simon.
"You're gonna leave me alone with a Nazi who's gonna make me eat broccoli and send me in bed at 8 pm?!"
"Naaaah, don't worry! We never met her, but she ain't like that!" tried and reassure Frontsek. "She's Gordon's little sister, she graduated high school and she decided to spend her vacation with friends here before beginning college."
"Oh wow, I'm reassured!" snarked Simon. "That's amazing how reassured I am! Gordon as a girl, that's super-reassuring!"
An awkward silence ensued as Julius ended getting showered and dressing...
