It's not a prosthetic, it's a mask, and I've had it for about 6 years :)

Dear Congress Person.

After several incidents with the TSA for my friends the shape shifters, please allow this gryphon to explain the weird Canadian coming to visit as I know you are not used to the supernatural. (Seriously TSA freaks out when I fly domestic every time... maybe I want to rest my wings?) This lovely feline spirit is a shape shifter. Please learn to look at souls and arcane/mystical imprints for ID, it would help greatly as their appearance is not fixed. In general, mystical and mythical sensitivity training would be well deserved and needed for their branch.

Despite the glasses, the hat, the lethal claws, enhanced musculature, and razor honed reflexes this gentle creature would never maul their fellow passengers. However some may warrant added tails, horns, or other modifications.
