Part of a large project a friend and I have been working on. These are still Barkule, mind you, just not anthro Barkule, and more thoroughly the kind of culture and race and I wanted from the start.
Say hi to Teppa. He's representing the Kadash Sect as a whole. This makes him awesome.
"The Kadash
- One of the smallest Sects within the Barkule
- Now all but extinct
- At height they were noted as raising the best Healers within the Clan
- Longest serving Branch of the Rahnen, having served the Root Sect
for well over 100 years
- Only 3 known survivors; notably Teppa of the Kadash
The Kadash were best known for serving the Rahnen in more aspects then just healing. They were guards, teachers, Healers, and, to the Head Family, servants. Directly tied to the Head Family, children were brought before the Head of the Sect at the age of nine. There they renewed their loyalty to the Head Family and were marked both with the Clan symbol and the Branch Sect symbol. From then on they were trained in their chosen occupation, as well as services to the Head Family. At the high point of this system there were nearly 200 Kadash at the beck and call of the Head Family and loyal to the Rahnen.
Little is known as to how this came to be, as the scrolls regarding the making of the Pact were lost during the Great Invasion. If the remaining Kadash know, they aren't telling. "
Anyway.
