I rescued a hawk recently, it was an incredible, cathartic experience. She actually bonded to my Alsatian and would sleep under her. She slept in the same room as me and my dogs, head turned all the way around and buried in her back, one foot up and pulled up into her chest, at the foot of my bed. I would walk around the ranch with her on my shoulder, this beautiful raptor, as i nursed her back to health. I miss her with burning tears. It is my sincere desire I see her, as well as my wolf, in heaven.
