Haha, no, no sex xD It's a very good - and believable in the Oddverse - fic. She's basically a mudokon grown for as part of the 'dark skin' project in which said mudokons keep an eye out for terrorists without being suspicious, as the mudokons are a little dim and wouldn't suspect anything. Kind of like spies in a way.
The reason she's female has something to do with the hormones in generic mudokons which meant they didn't survive for long. I can't remember properly without searching through the story again.

I'm guessing that it's just to get some romance going on. I read alot of Oddworld fan fiction and alot of what I got was mostly romance which kind of bothered me. I remember one was about Abe's "wife" wanting a baby born off her own flesh. That kind of annoyed me, seeing as how A: they're born of eggs and B: There aren't any Mudokon chicks, just the queen, so, in the end they wouldn't have any romantic feelings whatsoever lol.
I think I'm picky about Oddworld most of all because I love Oddworld more than anything, and when people bring in a new species or make some fan-fic, I get critical of it, in good and bad ways.
With the Zoe character, it wasn't bad actually, it reminded me like of a sort of deer kind of creature. And I'm happy you made her so tall to match with the heights of all the other creatures.
I had come up with a character myself but I hadn't told anyone about it.
When it comes to the girl Mudokons though, I dunno I just find them unsettling. It just brings in a new type of element that none of the Mudokons would even be aware of. I mean they're never going to get sexually aroused by her they don't mate. And why would she have boobs? They don't breast feed they're fed like birds. I know I'm being a pain in the arse and I say that with little withdrawal, it's just when it comes to this site and Oddworld, I only see too things; either art of the Stranger *shudder* naked, or...well that's it, and user created characters obviously.
You know what I'd like to see? Someone create a character that's fitting in with the rest of the Oddworld...world. The planet is HUGE, there's areas there nobody has ever ventured, why not see what's going on over there??
Most characters in Oddworld are butt-ugly, that would be cool to see as well.
I didn't like Fangus Clott because he looked WAY too human for Oddworld. He would look better as a pig-like creature who heards meep.

No I know exactly what you mean, it bothers me too. I see too many characters in too many fandoms that are just impossible. It drives me nuts. Dion, even though she has boobs for no real reason, still is an amazing character, she makes the story with her bad slig-like attitude...you should read it.
I can assure you that up to now there are no romances whatsoever, there are barely even any friendships seeing as no one on Oddworld can really be trusted, can they? There's a brief 'friendship' between Dion and a slig called Stivik, but she's betrayed as he's a spy working for the Cartel. The writer, Splat, is an amazing writer and a huge Oddworld fan, I can't see him adding in a crappy romance...and I really hope he doesn't.
A deer? What makes you say that? I've had many comments saying she's quite rodent-y...even though she's a mammal that descended from amphibians. May I also say, that I rarely update on here, my DeviantART is Rattychic, there's a new ref. thingie for Zoe, she's changed quite a lot from the picture you commented on.
