Aight, look, I'm going to say it, mister national guardsmen. This is one of those really rare "Not Covered In Procedure" situations, and with all the variables at play here, there is a STARTLINGLY large possibility of this going very very very badly. Like, we've graduated from a Freak accident that's under control and landed at 'Last Ditch Effort'. So at this point the odds are NOT in your favor. There's only one thing you can do in this situation and that's EXACTLY what my border collie behind would be doing right now. And, given Alf's disposition, hell, it'd probably be a half good idea because he'd feed off it and try even harder to rectify the situation. And that is,
Pull up a lawn chair, put on my sunglasses, crack open a nice cold beer, pop me a squat, lean back, and enjoy the show.

I remember a fun picture with a newspaper telling everyone "Andromeda Galaxy on a collission course with our Milky Way Galaxy" and some people panicking.
Leaving the facts that it's a few billion years away and going to be a merger,
how do you escape the galaxy?
In this case, that white sphere is eating the world. If this goes badly, well, where do you think you will be safe and how will you arrive there, like, right now?
