Every time I try to make scenery without ref, I make an epic fail. X_x
This is utterly breathtaking though. :X
Seriously, though - it is because it is so well done with the perspective!
(Also, those are some delicious-lookin' fox-ears, my friend.)
I feel the wind under my furs
I've a thing for lonely and wide landscapes and travel to the great canyons is something I want to do for a long time by now. Someday I will do. Well, until then this image will keep me at mood :)
It was inspired by three images/scenes: One illustration from the book "Raecheis - Der weisse Wolf" (I guess there's no english title available of the book). The scene from Simpsons where Homer sits on his car, watching the canyons far away in a night full of bright stars. And the end scene from the movie "Contact" where Ellie sits at the edge of the canyons, thinking of her past.
Fluke: thank you a lot. This one means lot to me :)
That's amazing!
You sir, have just reminded me why I watched you, (though it was not forgotten)
I like how you drew the character's shirt; it defines the wind's invisible presence. ^^
*Guessing it as the Grand Canyon due to similarity and layout of the land-
i gota commision you some time
background is awesome! (did you take a real pic' to work as ref?) stunning and colorful =)
I'm not too fond of his fur though
Do you have any idea how inspirational this is? I didn't think this would hit me emotionally at all, but it did. I almost cried, I'm serious. The lighting, the textures, and the general concept, its just beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking.
When you become famous I can say that I was one of the people who watched you evolve. Imagine what you are going to make this next year, there year after that, and so on. I can't wait to see what you have in store for everyone. I love you Fluke!!
what a view *w*
And yea, new background. :3
Photoshop?
This still has its place on my loving room wall as a framed jumbo print and on evenings of melancholy I still enjoy drowning in this picture.
Thank you so much. Still. After all the time gone by.
