I don't have the best eyesight, like, at all. Some would even say I can be considered legally blind at this point. Without my glasses, I can't see anything past five inches of my face, beyond that everything's literally a blur. This goes double under water, where things get so blurry I can't tell if the water's murky or it's just me. Fun.

So, imagine my surprise when my parents gifted me a snorkeling mask, complete with it's own, graded glasses. Granted, it was just a smidge off, but I could still see. Finally, I could go swimming in the sea and actually see something! I was so excited, more so as my family was heading to an island resort.

Being able to see clearly underwater for the first time was amazing. I could see the details of every fish that passed by, the colors of the coral looked very vivid, and I could even see a sunken ship way deep underwater. It was so insane!! It helped too having a dry pouch for my phone, so not only could I see the things I saw, but take pictures too with near similar quality. It was beautiful~

And yes, this is an actual thing that happened, I still have the snorkeling mask, and yes, I'm as blind as a bat irl without my glasses. Pls don't hurt me D':
