This was part of a series of exercises done for my creative writing class this semester. The point of the exercises was to write a story using exactly a specified number of words about a specific topic given in class. Each story needed to be about something that actually happened last summer, and needed to begin with the words "this summer." This was my 46 words exercise on "something not done." I assumed it belonged more in the prose poetry section than the story section. Enjoy.
