"Don't FUCKING protect me if it means getting yourself killed!!"



Mica doesn't take lightly to people /trying to/ protect her and then getting the hell beat out of them, because in her mind it's her fault. She wasn't strong enough to protect them and they got hurt, even though that couldn't be farther from the truth. Crippling anxiety does that to you. :'D

It was probably either a big wolf or some sort of creature that attacked (and lost), and though Mica is strong, sometimes it takes a bit more work than usual to get it down. Unfortunately, Boris doesn't know this, and his first thought was 'shit I've gotta protect her'. And, while he was able to distract the creature long enough for her to gather her bearings, he got his own ass kicked in the process.
Poor guy just wants to help but it's not always the best idea.

He's totally floored by the hug though. It's gotta be slightly jarring when your crush actually shows some worried emotion towards you 😂
