A place, huh? Well, if this place is the place, it's a good place to place it. :)

all of my dreams are about places, whatever else might or might not be in them.
(i mean my actual when i'm asleep dreams, and much more actual experience then anything i can make with pictures of)

That is odd. Your dreams have never been focused on a person? Or a thing? Or an event? Just on places, huh?
And I can understand the inability to put your dreams into pictures. Sometimes, I can barely put mine into words.

each of those things, sometimes, but not always,
or even often, happen in them.

instead, just as in real life, what i tend to notice more,
is landscape, nature, and what has been constructed.
never just any one thing.

not unable, just it would take longer then i have patience,
to put every nut and bolt and leaf and tree and rock.

and you know, some things would be too far away to see,
or hidden behind others.

All too true.
I'm sure you do the best you can. Some things are better left to the imagination.
